An activity which is easy to do in isolation or with social distancing? Yes, Reading! However, those in book groups enjoy the social interaction and discussion of many books and some we would not have chosen ourselves. Sometimes having that meeting deadline date spurs one on to finish the chosen book of the month. If it is a book that you have enjoyed and recommended the anticipation of waiting to hear if others in the Group have loved/not loved/abandoned your choice.

We meet on the 3rd Monday of the month in the Farmer's Arms, Ulverston from 10.30 - 11.30 for discussion of the current book.
