This group started in November 2025 and is aimed at raw beginners upwards - basically anyone who is interested in improving their drawing and painting skills and to have fun along the way.

It is our aim to deliver a fun and relaxed atmosphere where people of all abilities can come together and explore different mediums and different styles. We offer the opportunity to work as a group or individually, from still life or from your own materials. It is our aim that people will help, support and encourage each other and to simply Draw and Paint …. For Pleasure!

This is the ideal place to discover your inner artist and unleash your creativity. You will be surprised by the results!!

If you would like to join this welcoming community you are welcome to come along for an introductory session where you can meet the group and find out more about what we do. There’s always a cuppa going too - and maybe even the odd biscuit.

The Buccleuch Village Hall provides a kitchen area and large room with plenty of light and space for us to be creative.

No experience needed - Bring your own materials (although some are provided) - Refreshments provided
