How it was formed, its rare natural attributes , severe human impacts  and prospects for recovery by Dr Ray Wilson. Dr Wilson has studied Urswick Tarn over the last 20 years with mainly Exeter University. He will bring a deep insight to the study of this unique environmental asset.  

Entry is £3 and includes tea/coffee and biscuits. It is also a place where our groups introduce themselves and their activities. As well as providing an ideal opportunity to find out what the u3a can do for you, you will be able to find help with computing problems at our Computer Helpdesk. Bring along your laptop, tablet or smartphone for advice. Doors open at 9.30 and visitors are welcome.
